Places in London

Yesterday my family and I had a visit to Buckingham Palace, Big Ban, Westminster Abby and many more places. But When we were going to visit Buckingham palace we saw a few massive houses.20171119_095947.jpg

First I am going to write abou20171119_115516.jpgt the Buckingham Palace. This palace is located in the City of Westminster. At the palace there is also a guard changing ceremony at many times like on Sunday. This palace has been made since 1703  that is 314 years ago!

Now I will tell you about St James Park which is very near the palace. At this park there is a lot of park animals and many people having fun. The nice part is when the animals come on your leg or hands like birds come on your hands if you feed them or if there is food in your hand. Then the squirrels  which also climbs up your leg if you feed them or they will climb onto your hand if there is food that you fed them recently. In this park there is a playground,a path walk, a pond, where there will be animals like:

  • ducks
  • pigeon
  • Ravens
  • Crows
  • Squirrels
  • Rabbits(Rarely)
  • Swans
  • gulls

and many more animals. This park is actually one of the Royal Parks in London and closes at 12 am.

Next, I am going to write about Big Ben. Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the North of the Palace of Westminster in London and is usually referred to both the clock and the clock tower. The Height of this tower is 96 meters and has 11 floors. This is also located in the City Of Westminster.

Now, I am going to write about Westminster Abby. Westminster Abby is one of the worlds great church, with a history stretching back over a thousand years and an essential part of any trip to London. This church is 69 meters and is opened in 1090 which is 927 years ago. This church is just to the west of the Palace of Westminster.

All these places so far are actually walking distance!

Lastly, I am going to write about about Hyde Park which is not walking distance. Hyde Park is the biggest in London and is also the biggest of the four royal parks. This park has been established in 1637 and closes at 12 am just like St James Park. Right now at Hyde park there is a winter wonderland heme park with roller coasters and many more entertainments. Finally I am going  to write about the entertainments in London.
