My visit to the Eiffel tower started when we waited in line to pass through the security check. After the check my father went to th ticket office and bought the tickets to go to the top floor and tha is when we started our journey to climb up to the second floor which even my three year old sister could climb and it was over 600 steps ! At the seconed floor we waited in another line for half-hour and then took a lift to the top floor which is where i thought is was actually a radio station. I also forgot to mention that they gave us 2 brochures to have a treasure hunt. The weather was also marvellous at the top and at the bottem.

Now I am going to write about the facts of the Tower itself

1. It was built  in 1889
2. The tower is supposed to be built in Barcelona,Spain
3. 1665 steps are needed to climb up to the top of the tower
4. A woman named Erika La Tour Eiffel married Tower
5. There are 20,000 light bulbs on the tower
6. There are over 30 replicas of the tower in the world
7. The paint on the tower weights as much as 10 elephants
8. Gustave Eiffel Is the man who desgined the Eiffel tower and also behined the spine of the staatue of liberty
9. While the tower was constructing, it was the tallest tower in the world
10. 18,038 pieces of wrought iron and 2.5 million rivets were needed to build the Eiffel Tower
11. The Eiffel tower costs more that 30 million usd
12. The Tower was struck by lightning at 1902
13. The Eiffel Tower was built the same year Nintendo was founded
