Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite Battle Royale is a online shooter game made developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly. The game is a free to play and it can be played on the PC, Mac, IOS, Nintendo Switch, Android, PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. You can download the game on https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/.

The game has four main modes:

  • Solo,
  • Duos (Teams of two),
  • Squads (Teams of four or three)
  • Playground.

In each mode, there can be up to 100 players except for Playgrounds because Playgrounds is for your friends and yourself to practice your building and combat.

Solo is the hardest of all three modes and it is not so easy to get a Victory Royale. In this mode no one can revive you and you will immediately get eliminated and not get knocked down. The highest kill I have gotten in a single solo match is 6.

Duos is a bit easier than Solo but you only have one teammate to revive you if you get knocked down. But if your teammate is a professional Fortnite player and if he gets a win and you are spectating him, you will still get the Victory Royale ( if you stop spectating your teammate, the Victory Royale will not count.) The most amount of kills I have gotten in a Duos match is four.

Squads is the easiest of all the modes. This is because you will have three teammates to help you revive if you get knocked down. Squads is also easy because many people get separated from their teams, thus making it easier to eliminate/knock down opponents. Sometimes people play squads or even duos without anyone making them easier to kill! The concept for spectating your teammates is the same as a duos match! The most amount kills I have gotten in squad match is 12.

Sadly I have not gotten any wins but if I do, I will write about that!

Playgrounds is just for you and your friends to relax. In this mode getting materials is very easy, thus allowing you and your friend to practice building!

Fortnite In-game settings

My Fortnite in game settings are

If you want the settings that the pro players use are found at https://bestfortnitesettings.com (my favourite Fortnite player is Ninja!) Since my computer is not so powerful, it can run Fortnite at these settings with a Fps Locked at around 70 Frames per Second.

Building

Building is one main things to master when playing Fortnite, to master your building, you can join into a game of Playgrounds and practice your building. My personnel key binds for building is:

  • Wall: G / Thumb Mouse Button
  • Floor: C
  • Ramp: F / Thumb Mouse Button 2
  • Roof: V
  • Trap: Left Alt

Two of the main builds that I know how to do are

  • Ramp, Floor, Wall
  • 1×1 castle/building

Cosmetics

In Fortnite, the skins, back bling, emotes and pickaxes do not grant any privileges for buying them. the only reason why it is there is for the players to go in battle with style but not with advantages like FIFA. In FIFA you have to buy points which you can then purchase better players for your squad. My favorite skin in Fortnite is the Cloaked Star which costs 2,000 v-bucks.

V-bucks

V-bucks are the precious currency used in Fortnite to buy cosmetics and also the battle pass. Here are the different prices of V-bucks:

  • $10 for 1000 V-bucks
  • $25 for 2,800 V-bucks
  • $60 for 7,500
  • $100 for 13,500
  • $5 for 600 V-bucks and a skin with a back bling
  • $30 for 1000 V-bucks and a Full set(skin, back bling, glider, pickaxe)

You can also get 200 V-bucks for free every season by getting to tier 50.

Battle Pass

The Battle Pass can be bought with 1000 V-bucks or with 2,800 V-bucks for the battle pass with 25 tiers included. When you buy the battle pass you will immediately get two skins. With the battle pass players are rewarded with a reward every time they tier up. Each tier is 10 battle stars. Battle stars can be gained by completing weekly challenges, daily challenges and even by leveling up. The rewards in the battle pass add up to 25,000 V-bucks / $200. There are a total of 100 tiers in each season. With the Battle Pass, you can get around 1,400 V-bucks

Kimle-Hungary

Kimle

Kimle is a village in Hungary, the population of people in Kimle is around 3000.

My father decided to visit this village as it was nearing the end of our six month journey! 🙁 We also visited the village for us to relax after the five and a half months of traveling! the day before we went to Kimle, I had a dream about Kimle and thought that it was a village with only ten people, but when we reached there, it had a few houses and a few farms. The farms had mainly pigs, cows, horses, chickens and other types of farm animals, some farms had food grown. Kimle has only one supermarket. The name of the supermarket is Coop.

The morning air during the Spring season was a bit chilly. So when we had breakfast in the porch, we had to wear a fleece jacket! But after noon, it will become hotter and hotter until the evening when it is becoming chilly. After a few days of my visit, we got to go fishing in the connection of the Danube river with our host but sadly we didn’t catch any fish because, if we want to catch fish, the best time is in the summer. The bait that we used were some fish food and a lot of worms from the hosts garden. The opposite side of this river is actually a forest with some wild animals! After some fishing we went on to the hosts trampoline and jumped for half an hour!

Horse Riding Lessons in Stegersbach

(F.I.Y Stegersbach is a city in Austria) During the month of March, my father found us a house farm near our house. After visiting the horse farm, my father agreed to sign my brother and I for a few horse lessons for beginners, now I know how to ride a horse by myself! During the First Lesson, I learned how to clean a pony’s fur as it had fur that was shedding after winter. To clean the pony we needed some brushes and we had to scrub the horse fur with a bit of strength.

After my we cleaned the pony, my sister got to ride the pony! While my sister was riding the pony my brother and I were choosing our horse riding equipment. Before riding the horse, our instructor thought us how to put on the equipment. To get on the horse, the instructor helped us by giving a boost.

My instructor then clipped a sash to my horse so that he could control the movement of the horse as he didn’t want the horse to gallop away. For the starting, he thought us how to sit on the horse( the posture) then he thought us how to throttle when the horse is galloping. Throttling is like standing up and then sitting slowly so that the horse does not feel any pain when you sit down. There is always a problem with me and horses as when i ride a horse, after a while it stops so that it can poop or pee! If only there was a solution for this!

On our third lesson(I skipped the second lesson because it was the same as the first one), we had to go a sit on the horse and make sure that we were turned around so that we could only see the butt of the horse! After doing that, we turned around and the trainer thought us how to steer a horse and also how to ride it by ourselves. What I remember is, if you pull the left side of the rein with a bit of force, the horse will go towards the left and if you pull the rein towards the right, it will go towards the left. after a bit of practice my trainer let us ride it by ourselves.

At first I was feeling very scared but later on I was feeling a lot better!

The House of Houdini-Hungary

The House of Houdini

The House of Houdini is not where Harry Houdini (A.K.A Erik Weisz) lived, but it is where some official props used for Harry Houdini uses such as handcuffs! The Lego Museum-Prague,Czech Republic

The Lego Museum

The Prague Lego museum is the largest Lego museum in the world. A Lego museum is very different from the Lego theme park. This is because the Lego theme park has many different types of rides while the Lego museum only showcases the masterpieces that they have built entirely out of Lego. One of the showcases that I remembered seeing was the Eiffel Tower.

When I went to the Lego museum, the front of the museum started off with a Lego shop with many Lego sets on sale with separate Lego parts with a variety of colors to choose from. To enter the museum we had to buy the tickets as it was not free. The prices of the tickets are

  • $14.53 (Basic)
  • $10.29 (Reduced)
  • $39.35 (Family)

all the prices given above are stated in Singapore dollars. After buying the tickets for the ticketing counter, we went down an escalator and ended up into a humongous underground Lego museum.

The first thing that I saw was some Lego machines inside a glass box moving around. After walking around for a wile I saw the Eiffel tower. After seeing the Eiffel Tower, we walked some more and ended up into a showcase room all about fairy tails. The last thing that we saw underground was a play area where children would sit down and build any thing that they like!

After a while, my sister got board and we went upstairs where the staircase, lead us up to a star wars exhibition! Inside the star wars exhibition, we saw all the characters of the star was seasons and movies!

When we exited the museum there was a short time where a light snowfall falling from the sky!

Sagrada Familia – Barcelona

The Sagarda Familia is a church located in Barcelona which is still not finished. The church was designed by a Spanish architect named Antoni Gaudi. The construction of this humongous church started during 1882 under another architect named Francisco de Paula del Villar. In 1883 Gaudi took over as the chief architect as Villar had resigned. The cathedral is combining Gothic and Curvilinear Art Nouveau forms.

During 1993 Gaudi died at the age of 73 when he was run down by a streetcar and now he is buried in a crypt. When Gaudi died, less then a quarter of the project was done (this was a very sad thing). After some progress the construction stopped for a while because of the Spanish civil war and they continued around 1950. At 2010, CNC have enabled faster progress and passed the midpoint. However, some of the projects challenges remain, including the construction of ten more spires which each of the spires symbolising a biblical figure.

The cathedral will have 3 grand facades the Navtivity facade is facing the east, The Passion facade will be facing the west and the glory facade facing the south. The Navtivity is constructed between 1894 and 1930. The Passion facade is constructed between 1954 and 1987 and last but not least, the Glory facade. the glory facade stared construction during 2002 and is still constructing.

To help us understand the background history of this cathedral my father helped our family install the Sagarda Familia audio guide app! To use the audio guide, we simply had to look at the top corner of the board and see what the number is, after finding the number. you will have to . This app only costs $3.75 and is affordable for an audio guide!

The Cathedral is planned to be completed by 2026!

The Acer Predator G3-605

The Acer Predator G3-605

The Acer Predator G3-605 is a PC made by Acer during 2015. The price of this computer is around $1800( if it is new) and around $600 (if it is used) . The PC is a bit powerful and can run Fortnite at a solid 60 to 70 frames per second. This PC was one of the top 50 during 2015, But now technology is more advanced and the computer is not that good compared to the other PC’s sold today.

The PC is mainly used for gaming as it has:

  • Core i5 (4 cores)
  • Nividia Geforce GT 635 (2gb)
  • 1Tb Hard drive
  • 16GB Ram/Memory

but if you really want to, you can still use this PC for work. Game like Rocket League, Players Unknown Battle Grounds can run very well on this PC.

When I got the PC, it had windows 8.1, so later my dad updated it to windows 10. After upgrading from windows 8.1 to windows 10, I quickly downloaded Google Chrome on it so that my next thing that I could download is Fortnite. The computer is very quiet and doesn’t make any sounds at all unless is you overclock it. It has a CD disk reader and below that, there is a plastic piece where if you press it a bit with a bit of your strength, it will slide down and a headphone stand and a hard disk swap sections will be seen. The hard disk swap section is on the top and the headphone stand is on the bottom section. When I took out then cover, I thought that the wires would not be arranged. But to my amazement, all the wires were arranged neatly with a zip tie strapped around it to keep it together.

The PC also has:

  • 4 usb 3.0 ports
  • 4 usb 2.0 ports
  • 2 headphone ports
  • 2 microphone ports
  • 1 Ethernet cable port
  • 2 HDMI ports
  • 1 DVI port
  • 1 power supply cable port

these are all the ports that are included in this PC. If you want, you could buy an usb extension ports so that you could have more ports.

This is all that I know about this PC. I am writing a post on this PC as it is the one that I am using right now. 🙂

Plaza de España

Plaza de España is an attraction site located in Seville. The address of this tourist site is at : Av de Isabel la Católica, 41004 Sevilla, Spain. The website of this attraction is at http://www.andalucia.org/es/turismo-cultural/visitas/sevilla/otras-visitas/plaza-de-espana-2/  if you want more information you can go to this website. I will now let you read my story.

While we were in Seville, we were using a rental car to get around. When we reached Plaza de España, the free parking lots were limited so my mother had to go around in circles so that we could find a free parking lot. We eventually found a free lot very far away from Plaza de España and had to walk there. Unless your family has 7 people or more, I recommend you to use the public transport. It will be cheaper and more convenient if your group is small.

When I reached Plaza de España, the view that I had was stunning. There were ducks swimming inside a manmade pond which was made in the shape of a horseshoe. There many horse carriages parked waiting for visitors to bring around the Plaza and the vicinities.

While we were touring the Plaza, it started to rain which made us stuck! While it was raining, my father was telling us about the history of portable music players.

After the rain stopped, my father rented two canoes our family for 45 minutes. My grandmother, father, sister and I were in the first canoe while my mother, brother, grandfather were in a second canoe. The time was insufficient to go around the pond. Therefore, once we were half way we had to turn back. We had a race on who could reach the start point first. The race ended as a tie!

After we got out, we went around the Plaza again but this time, it was on the ground level. On the ground level there were some beautiful tile work depicting the cities of Spain.

Plaza de España is definitely a sight that you should visit.

hope you can go there!!

and that is everything I remember about that visit!
