Nvidia Geforce ShadowPlay is a feature in the Geforce Experience app. This feature is available for most Nvidia Gpu’s and it :

  • Records (1080p at 60 fps)
  • Broadcasts (1080p at 60 fps)
  • Highlights (1080p at 60 fps)
  • Instant Replay (1080p at 60 fps)

This feature runs in the background while you are playing a game and if you get an epic win or kill, it will be saved. The best part is that is does not affect you in-game performance.

Recording    Instant Replay   Highlights

It records at 1920×1080 at 60 fps which is a very good quality because whenever I try using Obs-Studio, The recordings are never smooth compared to Shadowplay. Instant replay is a way that you can send your clips directly to YouTube or FaceBook! Highlights is something similar to instant replay but it is just used for saving clips.

Broadcasting

You can use this feature to broadcast to stream live gameplay to Twitch,Facebook and YouTube at 1080p at 60fps. You can add in only 3 different overlays and there is many servers to stream to!

 

My Opinion

If that this is a good feature but there is not many options to where you want to stream so if you want to stream to many other websites you can use obs-studio!

Brawl Stars!

Brawl Stars

So, if you haven’t heard of it, Brawl Stars is basically a game where there can be a maximum of 10 players fighting each other and you have to fight for the spot on #1.

I got to know about Brawl Stars around 1-2 months ago when I went to the mosque and all my friends including my elder cousin were all talking about it. First I asked them what they were talking about and then they all told me in one go ,Brawl Stars! Then later that day, I downloaded Brawl Stars on my iPad and Started playing it!

What is it

Brawl Stars is a game developed and also published by Supercell. What happens is that you spawn in a location near or far away from your opponents. When you get into a game, you will need to break a box where you can get a power cube. A power cube is basically a power-up in-game which is for FREE. Once you get these power cubes, your health and damage that you will deal to your opponent will increase. Two skins I recommend for this are: El Primo and Bull(I will explain why later).

The “battle pass”, in-game currencies and also the item shop

The Battle Pass is not actually a battle pass but it is more like a trophy road because you can only get stuff like:

  • Skins
  • XP Boosts
  • Chests
  • Events
  • Ranks

there are much more but I have only typed some of them. So when ever you win games, you get trophies and when you get 50 trophies+- then you can get free stuff! The in-game currencies are gems and coins and they are used to buy stuff from the item shop!

How To Play

The game is very simple, on the right side you have your controls to fire. For firing, you have two buttons, Normal attack and special attack. To get a special power, you need to deal damage to the opponents. On the other side, you have one button which is to move around!

Skins

The two reasons why I choose Bull and El Primo is because when you get them, they do quite a lot of damage to opponents and they also have a lot of health! But there also are skins like Colt which have a little health but they do a lot of damage!

Is The iPad 3rd Generation a Good Device To Buy In 2019?

What is it

The iPad 3rd generation is a tablet computer (Basically a computer in the form of a tablet). It was launched on the 7th of March 2012. The iPad comes in different file storage sizes from 16GB then 32GB and lastly the 64GB and the iPad is sold for a higher price if you want to put a sim card in it. This iPad has only two colors which are white and black. I have a 32GB, white color at home right now! The price of an iPad without cellular data costs around $60 and the model with cellular data costs around $80. The iPad weights 650 grams without cellular data and 660 grams with cellular data. After watching some videos on YouTube, I found out that the olderr versions of iPad’s do not bend/break as easily as the newer models.

Performance

It depends on whats you plan to use it for:

  1. For watching TV Shows and Movies it works well but on YouTube, it takes a few seconds to make the quality smoother.
  2. Playing Video Games. Old games like Plants vs Zombies works well but games like Bullet Force(Something like Critical-Ops) does not run very well.
  3. For work/studying. If you are doing something like making an app, I prefer the newer iPad’s because more people use that than this iPad. But for studying, if it is basic, this is a good choice, but if it is advanced then you should get a higher model.

If you did not know, jail broken IOS devices are much more quicker than normal iPad’s but there is a higher chance that your iPad will get hacked.

My Review

I feel that it is a good device because I mainly game on my XBOX 360 or my computer but whenever I go travelling, I can use the iPad to game and to watch twitch or YouTube!

Why Is Epic Giving Away Free Games?

If you didn’t know, Epic Games started releasing free games every two weeks starting with Subnautica During December 2018. When I asked my father about his thoughts, he told me that it could by so that Epic Games can receive more people to download their app so that they can redeem their free game! But after searching online, I got to know that they are doing this so that they can keep up with:

  • Origin
  • GOG
  • Steam
  • Twitch
  • Discord
  • Uplay
  • Itch.io
  • Battle.net
  • Bethesda.net Launcher

My Thoughts:

I personally like this idea as I have gotten 7 free games which are:

  • Subnautica  ($24.99 USD)
  • Super Meat Boy ($14.99 USD)
  • Slime Rancher ($19.99 USD)
  • Thimble Weed Park ($19.99 USD)
  • What Remains Of Edith Finch ($19.99 USD)
  • Axiom Verge ($19.99 USD)
  • The Jackbox Party Pack ($24.99 USD)

So in total I have gotten is around $126.93 in games! Right now I am just waiting for the next game to come out, OXENFREE. Once it comes out, I am going to write a post about that!

Is Apex Legends Going To Beat Fortnite?

Apex Legends:

Apex Legends is a Free to Play Battle Royale game that has been recently released on the 4th February 2019. The game is something like Playersunknown Battlegrounds and Fortnite mixed together. The game was developed by Respawn Entertainment and was published by Electronic Arts. You can download the game on origin at :https://www.origin.com/sgp/en-us/store/apex/apex . The game is runs well on my computer and my resolution is 1920×1080 and in Fortnite my resolution is 1080×768!

The real question is : Is Apex Legends Going To Beat Fortnite?

  • Take Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 as an example, when it came out many people were saying that it was going to beat Fortnite. But after a few weeks of its release, Fortnite became number 1 again! So it might not die off that quickly.

So the answer to that question is not in a long time!

Axiom Verge

Have you played Mario and do you remember playing it? Well Axiom Verge is a Metroidvania game developed and also published by Thomas Happ Games LLC. Did you know that Super Mario bros is also a Metroidvania game? The game is rated 9/10 on Steam and it costs $20 but if you on Epic Games it is free from now to February 21 and on that day a new game is coming out. So if you like playing games, I suggest that you download epic games and get a game free every 2 weeks!

The Aim of The Game:

You are a failed scientist who dies by accident and then wakes up mysteriously on an alien world. In this game you have to kill the different monsters and also gain different abilities so that you complete the game. (I am not so sure of the ending as I haven’t completed the game yet. Plants Vs Zombies

When I was 7, my dad bought me an apple Mac Book. A few months later, he bought Plants Vs Zombies on it for me to play! Since then I used to play it until I finished it several times. When I needed help my mother would help me because she also liked the game. After a few months my family and I went to Egypt I ate my dads brains to download Plants Vs Zombies 2 on his phone. After finishing the second game I got bored of it and started playing other games that my cousin told me about. During the holidays my dad brought home an iPad 3rd Generation for my family to use. So then I downloaded both Plants vs Zombies 1 and 2 on it.

Plants vs Zombies has five different versions:

  • Plants Vs Zombies
  • Plants Vs Zombies 2
  • Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare
  • Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
  • Plants Vs Zombies Heroes

But this post is for Plants Vs Zombies.

Plants Vs Zombies is video game that was made and also published by Pop Cap until Electronic Arts took over. In this game you have to defend your owner by placing plants down so the you can kill the zombies with them. You also have to collect sun so that you can place the plants down!

Clash Royale

Clash Royale is a multiplayer game a bit similar to Clash of Clans made by Supercell. The both the developer and publisher are Supercell. The game came out on the stores of Google Play and App Store on the 4th January 2016 and has raised over a billion dollars in less than a year! The game is about placing your cards down and trying to defeat the opponent and break their king tower. But you also have to defend yourself while attacking.

The 5 tips to win more in Clash Royale is:

  1. Wait for your elixir to go up to 10 and then defend what the opponent will keep to try to attack you. ( Once you have full elixir you can most keep anything)
  2. Keep a stronger person before you keep a weaker person like mini pekka(Giant then Prince)
  3. Use Combo’s(Prince Mini P.E.K.K.A)
  4. Do not attack the king tower first because then the opponent will have one more tower to help him defend.
  5. Do not drop people on near the bridge as then it will be harder to use combos

The FW-707 is a gaming keyboard made by Friwol. This is a multi-functioning backlit mechanical keyboard. This keyboard has 6 colours and only two modes: breathing and still. To adjust the brightness press Fn+Pg up to increase the brightness and Fn+Pg down to decrease the brightness. To change mode of the backlight press Fn+Pause Break and to turn the backlight on and off press Pause break.

Looks:

The keyboard comes in two different colours: Black and white. Has a metal baseplate and a plastic sheet on the top so that everyone can see the lights that the keyboard has. The keyboard weighs at 925grams

Overall:

Overall the keyboard is good also comfortable. I would recommend friwol to start making better keyboards which are light and has a bigger variety of colours and how you want to choose them.
