My Flights to Karachi

Good morning today I am going to write about my flight and lounge experience to Karachi,Pakistan. “Ring,Ring, My bell ringed to wake me up.” Once I woke up I went to the toilet brushed my teeth, combed my hair and finally got ready to go to the Changi Airport in Singapore. I did not even know to there will be a grab available

at 5 am. So we took a grab share and went to the airport. When we reached the airport we unloaded our bags from the car and kept it onto the trolley. After we loaded the bags, we quickly rushed to our check-in to the scoot airways to Bangkok.Which was at the basement of the airport.

Once we got to the Bangkok airport, we checked out from scoot and loaded our bags onto the Thai Airways Flight which was for 5 hours. While we were waiting for our airplane we went into the Dbs/Miracle lounge where we relaxed. In the lounge there were showers in the toilets there was a ice cream freezer, a drinks cooler, food like Nasi lemak, Chicken Rice and much more. When we got onto our flight I straight away went to my seat and started play the mini tv that they provided behind each seat. After I got board I started watching movies.

When we arrived at our destination it was 5 O’Clock that means 8p.m in Singapore. We checked out from the check out center and went to fetch our bags. Since I checked out first I got the heavy bags and kept it on the trolley, we then took a shuttle service to mu uncles house and now I am staying there.

My Trip To Malaysia!

“Yes ,we are going Malaysia today.” I told my parents in excitement, last week. My family and I went to Malaysia for the same usual stuff we do, like shopping but last week we had to go to the butcher. Here is the plan we had to follow: Breakfast then the butcher  shopping lastly home and the immigration is the longest time I have been stuck in the car  for

We went to Tesco for shopping, Butcher for meat, breakfast and lunch to eat. The destinations to go to all the place is very far from each other. In Tesco we did shopping for fruits like apple, grapes, mangoes, vegetables like spinach, carrots, junk food like doughnuts and much more. The only thing we bought for sports is a ball needle for a pump. While we were at the butcher I got the chance to pet the goat on the horns and the hair/fur. We also saw a humongous female cow going to charge towards us. 🙁  During breakfast we went to a Malaysian shop and ate some breakfast as that was one of the stores near the immigration. But for lunch we were not that lucky and ate at an another store at 2-3pm

I felt very happy and I would love to go for this trip again!

The KangKong

Kangkong is a plant which is grown currently in China and other  countries like Myanmar and I am writing this topic on this plant because I am currently growing it for a school project. Let’s start by writing about the main habitats of it and the use of the plant. But first I wanted to tell you that the  real name of the kangkong is actually a Ipomoea aquatica.

The main habitat of the kangkong  it is found throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The use of it is so that we can eat it as it is a vegetable. In English the names are kangkong, water spinach, river spinach Chinese spinach or river cabbage.

Ipomoea aquatica grows in water or on moist soil. Its stems are 2–3 metres (7–10 ft) or more long, rooting at the nodes, and they are hollow and can float. The leaves vary from typically arrow head-shaped, 5–15 cm (2–6 in) long and 2–8 cm (0.8–3 in) broad. The flowers are trumpet-shaped, 3–5 cm, and usually white in colour with a mauve centre. it is either by planting cuttings of the stem shoots that will root along nodes or planting the seeds from flowers that produce seed pods

Cheetahs !

Yesterday I saw a documentary about cheetahs on channel 413 ( Nat Geo Wild) on my Star hub television box! Cheetahs are actually the fastest animal in the land. Its speed is 112km/hour and can stalk prey from 200 to 300 meters away. Its hunting speed is 64km/hours in sprint

The cheetahs are carnivores that means meat-eaters like me ! Their main are antelopes and gazelles. If their is no antelopes or gazelles they just another prey like elephants, rabbits and much more.

Cheetahs are covered in over 2000 black spots. They  weight from 21 to 72 kg , they are taller than the leopard but are shorter than the lion. Typically yellowish tan or  greyish white, the coat is uniformly covered with nearly 2,000 solid black spots. Did you know that greyish white are some zoo’s as they are endangered right now and has less than ten thousand in the world.  They are also mammals.

They also have cousins like the pumas, panthers, lions, leopards, tigers and much more.  They all are cousins as they all are cats and have fur. Did you know that many animals are white as there is a disease where the skin of the animal is white.

Did you know that the cheetahs nearest  cousins are the cougar and the jaguar.

A genome study concluded that cheetahs experienced two bottlenecks in their history, the first about 100,000 years ago and the second about 12,000 years ago, greatly lowering their genetic variability. These bottlenecks may have been associated with migrations across Asia and into Africa (with the current African population founded about 12,000 years ago), and/or with a depletion of prey species at the end.

The cheetahs lives at Cheetahs inhabit a variety of habitats – dry forests, scrub forests and savanna’s. they live in the African and Asian places.

Hippopotamus!

Yesterday while my family and me were watching the documentary on hippopotamus at Nat Geo Wild which is on channel 413 on Starhub and that is why I am writing this post. These animals – Hippos are actually very aggressive as they kill at least a hundred people every day. Did you know that the scientific name  for a hippopotamus is called a Hippopotamidae. Did you know that the hippopotamus is actually a mammal and is a herbivore the weight is from 2000 to 4000 kg.

Hippopotamuses are large mammals, with short, stumpy legs, and barrel-shaped bodies. They have large heads, with broad mouths, and nostrils placed at the top of their snouts. Like pigs, they have four toes, but unlike pigs, all of the toes are used in walking.

Hippopotamuses are stout, naked-skinned, and amphibious members (and the only living members) of the family.  Do you know that their closest living relatives are the whales and dolphins. The Hippopotamus have three chambered stomachs like the camel and are classified under the group Pseudormiant(  pseudoruminants have three-chambered stomachs while ruminants have four chambers.)

Did you even know the name hippopotamus came from the Ancient Greek ‘River Horse’ and a baby hippo already weights 45 pounds.

There are actually many hippos an I am going to name you some!

  • Pygmy  Hippos
  • African Hippos
  • The Common Hippos
  • Indian  Hippos

These are all the hippos I know !

The Camp!

Last week on Friday, the 4 August 2017 to Saturday, 5 August 2017 was my Primary 4 camp. During the camp my classmates and me were separated into groups with other classes. My group had three people who are from my class. My group was also sixteen people big.

The activities in the camp were :

  • Abseiling
  • Dragon Boating
  • Campfires
  • Team Building Games
  • Low Ropes

These were the activities there was at the camp.

Abseiling, this activity is about making you trust the equipment. The equipment is the safety rope, the helmet and the safety harness. there are four holes  which are the : leg holes, the waist hole and the belly button hole, These are the holes which will secure your body from falling at a rapid speed.

Dragon Boating is a water activity where you get on a large canoe where it fits over 10 people. We were brought to the kallang water sports area to do it. I think the boat is made out of metal or wood. The goal here is teamwork because if every one rowed at a different pace the boat might tip over. While we were Dragon boating, we learned how to stop, stop the boat to tip over, move forward and backwards.

Low Ropes, is a course where you must trust the group mates. In low ropes you must walk on the ropes and try not to fall down. The course was formed by the strong ropes and the poles in the school. After this we had an amazing lunch.

After we came back from Dragon Boating we played some team-building activities and then had some delicious dinner and then started the campfire by letting our vice-principle to light up the camp fire.  During the camp fire we sang songs and then did some performances and even a magic show.

Skateboards !

Hello today I am going to write about skateboards which are the fingerboards eldest brother.

Skateboards are a type of sports equipment or a toy made of 5 to 7 plies of maple wood. A skateboard is moved by someone putting their front leg on the first for bolts and the other leg to push. There is two types of foot placements. The goofy footed or the normal footed. The goofy footed is where  rider’s leading foot is their right foot, he/she is said to ride goofy.

Recently, electric skateboards have also appeared. These no longer require the propelling of the skateboard by means of the feet rather an electric motor propels the board, fed by an electric battery. There are different types of skateboards. The cruiser, The penny and the old school boards.

The following descriptions cover skateboard parts that are most prevalent in popular and modern forms of skateboarding. Many parts exist with exotic or alternative constructions. A traditional complete skateboard consists of the deck (often with grip tape applied on top to enhance traction), trucks (with urethane bushings), wheels (with sealed bearings), bushings, nuts and bolts to fasten the truck and wheel assembly to the bottom of the deck. Older decks also included plastic parts such as side, tail, and nose guards.

The parts of the skateboards are the trucks, the wheels with bearing, the rip tape and the board itself.  Grip tape is a piece of sand paper with adhesive under is to make is stick on to the board.

If you are interested to get a skateboard you can buy them at

  • Shred Quarters
  • Decathlon
  • Local skate shops
  • online.

These are the places you can get quality skateboards for an amount of money.

The China Fingerboard Review!

Good morning everyone. today I am going to write about the Fingerboard that I got a few months ago

The Fingerboard is from aliexpress.com. The one which I got ,came with

  • 7 nuts
  • 9 screws
  •  4 bearing wheels
  • 2 super silver trucks (29)
  • 2 washer
  • 4 bushings
  • A deck
  • 1 Tool
  • And 1 piece of foam tape uncut

These are all the items that came in the box. The hard part was when we needed to fix the board up like a skateboard. Since it came from China it took 2 weeks to reach Singapore.

To assemble it up we just had to look at the back or just do it our selves. Since I have watched many unboxing/setup videos on youtube! I know how to set it up. while my and my brother was set-ing up the trucks by keeping the wheels and the base plates and the trucks together. I did one truck while my brother did the other one after we set up the trucks we asked our father to use the screws to put the truck on the fingerboards.after we kept the trucks on we finally let my brother put on the rip tape on! Luckily we did scissors paper stone and I won so that means I got the fingerboard

For the review I would say it is excellent. The holes for the trucks are made properly the wheels role very smoothly, The trucks fell very nice for grinds. The pricing is cheap and it is reliable for starter fingerboarders.  It costs only $2-$3 The rip tape is very foamy, spongey and a little bit sticky. once you play with it for 1 to 2 months the wheels will start to roll slower. but still is a very good fingerboard. I hope you can find yourself one too !

Here is a video if the article is to long!

What Are Fingerboards !

Hello my fellow readers today I am going to write about what are fingerboards. Fingerboards are basically miniature skateboards. They come in many different shapes and sizes like the penny boards, cruiser boards and the normal shape. There are many brands like Aloanswood fingerboards, Blackriver, flatface and much more. Did you know that fingerboards can also be made in to fidget spinners.

The decks that wanted are too expensive and they are from flatface and berlinwood. These are one of the worlds best brand and they are handmade. The deck that I have is from Aloanswood. What can we do with fingerboards ? Well fingerboards are just like skateboards. They make wood and Iron to make most of the wooden fingerboard obstacles.

There are also fingerboard parks that can be bought online or homemade. Fingerboard parks are when fingerboards obstacles are placed in one position for the whole time until they break.

Trucks and wheel to make a fingerboard work you will need some trucks and wheels for wooden fingerboard which I currently use has 32 millimeters trucks. There are a few brands of trucks so I will tell you them

  • Blackriver
  • Dyanamic
  • flatface
  • bollie
  • Ytrucks

That is all I know about fingeboard trucks and wheels.

Last but not least you will need rip tape to help the fingerboard grip to your fingers. There are two types of rip tapes which are The sand paper ones and the Foam ones I would prefer foam rip tape as it is very soft and nice. The cheapest website to get fingerboards from is Brokenknucklefingerboards.com

That is all I know about fingerboards. Thank you for reading This post

My Experience At Universal Studios

One Sunday morning, my parents told me that we are going to universal studios. Once I heard this exciting news I jumped out of my bed and quickly brushed my teeth, changed my clothes and packed my bag. Once I was ready I ran down to eat my food and get into the car. Since it was a distance from my house and Sentosa is about half to one hour.

When we reached Sentosa after parking we went on the elevator and reached Universal Studios. Since I had a six month pass and let my cousin brother go last time for  the first trip he got unlimited pop corn for one day. Luckily my brother also got a six month pass so we got free pop corn. Did you know that if you get a six month pass you could get free pop corn and a key chain?

The first and second ride we went was the human and cylone. both the rides went very fast and ended in less than 3 minutes. These rides which I went to turned upside down, dropped and had sudden acceleration. The next ride I went to was the TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle. This battle is about a transformers which saved the people in the rides life. Since I was sitting in the back so the bullet hit my face.( The bullet is a 3D one ;] ) The  next section I went to is the Arabic/Egyptian place. in there we went to the 4D ride. This ride included fire, dropping and sudden acceleration. The next ride we went was the rapid adventure which was a bit scary but a wet ride. This ride got my dad soaked and includes water After that ride we went for lunch and then we went for  the Madagascar ride which was the only ride that my sister could go to.

The End
